I checked out the Playstation Blog (EU) earlier today to see what would be up on the Store and noticed the Plus content for March & April announcement.
Sonic The Hedgehog was listed for this month and, the link directed you to the new Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode 1.
I was quite pleased with this as I had been wanting the title for some time but didn’t want to fork out £9.99 on what could be a pile of shit (considering recent attempts at Sonic games have sucked).
The store got updated, I went online, downloaded it and a few other bits of Plus content and to my dismay, it is the original Sonic game as a standalone from the Megadrive Collection which I already have.
I checked the blog again and…guess what? The link had been removed. Technically this is false advertising. Just like in stores, if they price an item wrong, they MUST give you the item for whatever THEY displayed. So should the case be here as many users may have subscribed to Plus as the game itself was what swayed them to join.
But they can’t say they didn’t do it…
