Around The Web 05/07/10
Another new feature on the blog!
Basically, anything I find significant, funny or just feel like posting will be added here.
Think of it as a compilation of the good, the bad and the down right tragic content encountered whilst surfing t’interweb.
First up is a shocker and also rather odd timing. The better half was doing a carboot sale yesterday flogging the majority of my PS2 games collection and included was this title which didn’t sell yet (I don’t think) and I was thinking of putting the games up on eBay but not if it comes to this!
More on the iPhone FAIL. I must admit, I don’t understand the hype over iPhones. So many people want them yet they can’t use them or don’t get the full potential…and why? Because their mates have one or they “look nice” or just the fact that from subliminal messaging or “in-your-face” advertising that’s the name that sticks in one’s mind.
FAIL for “extreme” porn lovers in Scotland.
The iPhone loses BBC iPlayer.
There’s been a lot of talk on the interweb about Google and Facebook almost locking horns. The first is Google Me rumours. And the second is the Facebook Search. Nothing concrete as yet but interesting nonetheless…
And last but by no means least, arguments over PS+ (or PSN+ as many call it) are worth a gander (if you own a PS3, of course).
